Congratulations!
Congratulations to the new members who joined the church this Easter! At the Easter Vigil Mass, Gisma was baptized, and Gisma and Cesar were Confirmed and received their First Holy Communion. We welcome them as new members of St. Ann. We also welcomed Lucy as she returned to the church at Easter and celebrated Holy Communion. What a blessing these new members are to our parish community.
Thank you!
Thank you to everyone at St. Ann who served as readers and eucharistic ministers during Holy Week! Thank you also to Michel and Sonia and to Father Patrick for putting together beautiful liturgies to help us celebrate Holy Week and Easter. Thanks also to the parishioners who helped with the reception after the Easter Vigil Mass to help us celebrate our new members.
Gardening Help Needed!
Spring is here and we are looking for volunteers! We need folks to help to weed our beautiful gardens and for someone to mow the lawn once a week. If you are interested in being part of our gardening crew, contact Dianne at (509) 710-0638, or call or email the parish office.

Franciscan Corner
“Make me a channel of your peace…. Where there’s despair in life, let me bring hope…”
The conversion of Francis was not a one time occurrence. It happened every day of his life, just like it does in ours. It’s called “continuous conversion.” He must have wondered if he had really “heard” Jesus speak to him in that little church that was on its last legs. He must have said “really?” as more and more men joined him. He must have wondered if his trip to see the Sultan was worth the walk. So he had doubts—just like those men hiding in that upper room that Sabbath evening. Doubt can lead to despair. It’s then that we need someone to bring us hope. Jesus certainly brought hope to them that night! We need not only to BE pilgrims of hope ato others, but also to be open to the hope others bring us. “Well done, good and faithful servant, well done, Pilgrim of Hope!
Thank you to Sr. Joanne for sharing these reflections with us!
