Swahili Mass – Sunday, June 7
St. Ann celebrates Mass in Swahili on the first Sunday of each month at the 9:00 AM Mass. Join us for this joyful celebration of Mass! Beginning in June, the Swahili choir will no longer be providing the music at the Saturday 4:00 PM Mass due to the challenge of assembling a full choir on Saturdays.
If you would like to join the offertory procession at the Swahili Mass, you are invited to donate items such as water bottles and snacks (like granola bars or crackers) for visitors to the parish house, or coffee creamer for Coffee & Donuts and Sunday Lunch.
Matthew 25 Ministry – Prayer Vigil – June 7
The Matthew 25 Ministry is hosting a prayer vigil on June 7th, to stand in solidarity with refugees and immigrants held in detention. The ecumenical prayer vigil will be held at Feast World Kitchen at 4:00 PM and will include music and reflections as we pray together for our immigrant and refugee siblings.
Fr. Max Oliva Book Signing at St. Ann – June 20 & 21

Confirmation & 1st Communion Banners
The youth who received the sacraments of Confirmation and 1st Holy Communion in April can now pick up the banners they created, and which we used to decorate the church throughout the Easter Season. Please pick them up from Elizabeth after Mass or in the parish office during office hours.
Special Request from the Parish Office
Please remember to contact the parish office if you need to schedule meetings in the parish house or the parish hall, in order to make sure the spaces are available and your meeting or event is on the calendar. It is wonderful that we have a lot of active ministries at St. Ann, but many meet on Sundays after Mass, and there is limited space to meet in the parish house. Also, if you bring coffee cups over from the hall to a meeting in the parish house, please return them to the parish hall. Thank you!

In Catholic Tradition, eating is a moral act. We are called to approach food with reverence. We are also challenged to consider how food choices impact others, creation and our relationship with God.
Pope Benedict’s encyclical Caritas in Veritate reminds us that food systems should prioritize human dignity over profit. He warned against practices that exploit workers, harm creation or lead to waste and excess while others go hungry. Pope Francis, in Laudato Si calls for a “culture of care” that recognizes the interconnectedness and sacredness of all God’s creation.
Supporting Farmers Markets is one way to embrace a culture of care for food and farmers. Why?

St. Ann Safety Reminder
To ensure children’s safety, adults must accompany all children to the restroom in the parish hall during Mass. The restroom key has been moved to the west side door of the church for easier access. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe!
