Thank You, St. Ann Youth!
Thank you to our St. Ann youth who served Sunday Lunch last Sunday. Thanks especially to our youth leaders, Robbie & Hannah, and all the other adult helpers, who helped organize this service project for our youth. We hear that it went smoothly and the youth did great.
New St. Ann Website!
We hope you’ve had a chance to check out the new St. Ann website: https://stannsspokane.org/ It was an exciting & fun project, and we are pleased with the more user-friendly and visually beautiful website created by Andy Robideaux. Let us know what you think!
Swahili Mass – June 1
St. Ann celebrates Mass in Swahili on the first Sunday of each month. Join us for this joyful celebration of Mass on June 1st. If you would like to participate in the offertory procession on Sunday, we invite you to bring items such as water bottles, kleenex, and hand sanitizer. The Swahili choir also provides music for the Saturday Mass for that weekend.
Parish Office Closed – May 26
The Parish office will be closed on Monday, May 26 in honor of Memorial Day. Thank you for your understanding.
Gardening Help Needed!
Spring is here and we are looking for volunteers to work in our beautiful gardens. If you are interested in being part of our gardening crew, contact Dianne at (509) 710-0638, or call or email the parish office.
Concrete Project
Thank you to all those who have donated to our project to fix the front porch steps of the church. As we have announced at Mass, in order to make the entry ADA compliant, we’ll need to add a ramp. If you are able to donate, we have a donation basket at the front of the church. If you would like to help with fundraising, contact Dianne at (509) 710-0638 or the parish office at 509 535-3031

Monday, May 26 at 10 am at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7200 North Wall Street. Please bring your own chairs.
Collection for the Catholic Church in the US – May 24 & 25
The Collection for the Catholic Church in the United States provides a way to build up the Church in rural and isolated regions of our country. This one collection takes the place of six that would otherwise be held at various times throughout the year. The Diocese of Spokane receives grants from both the Catholic Home Missions and Black and Native American Missions. Please use the envelopes that you received in the mail or take one of the envelopes found in the entry of the church to make your contribution to the Catholic Church in the United States. You can also donate online at: dioceseofspokane.org/ccus. Thank you.

Laudato Si’ at 10: A Time to Celebrate, A Time to Commit
May 29, 2025
1:00-2:30 pm (ET)
Join Catholic Climate Covenant and Laudato Si’ Movement – North America on May 29, 2025, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Laudato Si’ with a 90-minute webinar celebrating how the U.S. Catholic community has responded to Pope Francis’ call to “hear the cry of the poor and the cry of the Earth” through its participation in the Vatican’s Laudato Si’ Action Platform.
Franciscan Corner
“Make me a channel of your peace…. Where there’s despair in life, let me bring hope…” Who did Francis turn to when he was looking for answers. When he felt misunderstood, or was weary? Did he hear the words of Jesus: “Son, behold thy mother”? Francis had a special devotion to Mary. He wrote and prayed: “Hail, holy Lady, most holy Queen, all holy Virtues are poured into the hearts of the faithful, that they may be made faithful servants of God through you” (Salutations of Mary). May we too call upon Mary that we remain faithful servants of God and be pilgrims of hope to others.
Thank you Sr. Joanne for sharing these reflections with us!
