May 18, 2025 – 5th Sunday of Easter

New St. Ann Website!

St. Ann has a new website! This has been an exciting & fun project, and we so appreciate the work by Andy Robideaux to create a more user friendly and visually beautiful website.  We hope you’ll take a moment to check out our new website: https://stannsspokane.org/

St. Ann Youth Ministry – Sunday Lunch – May 18

Our St. Ann youth will be serving Sunday Lunch this Sunday, May 18. Thank you to the middle school & high school students who have volunteered to be a part of this service project. Thank you also to our youth leaders, Robbie & Hannah, and other adult helpers!

Concrete Project

As we have announced at Mass, our next big project is to fix the front steps and sidewalk of the church. In order to make the entry ADA compliant, we’ll need to add a ramp, which is more expensive but will allow all of us to enter through the front doors!  If you are able to donate, or would like to help with fundraising, contact Dianne at  (509) 710-0638 or call/email the parish office.

Gardening Help Needed!

Spring is here and we are looking for volunteers to work in our beautiful gardens!  If you are interested in being part of our gardening crew, contact Dianne at (509) 710-0638, or call or email the parish office.

Franciscan Corner

“Make me a channel of your peace…. Where there’s despair in life, let me bring hope…” Francis had traveled far in the days and years after he embraced the leper—traveled by foot and in heart. His was a journey of transformation, changing from the son of a wealthy merchant to a man without a place to lay his head, without a nickel in his pocket. He gave no coins to the poor but what he had, he gave—acceptance, recognition, kindness. He was a pilgrim of hope, spreading hope wherever he went with whomever he met, friend and foe alike. How about us? Do we offer what we have to lift up those who are having a hard time, to those who have fallen on hard luck? To family members, acquaintances, co-workers who are having a “bad day”? Make me a channel of your peace, and land a pilgrim of hope to a world fallen on hard times.

Thank you Sr. Joanne for sharing these reflections with us!
