We wish all our St. Ann fathers and father figures a very happy Father’s Day this Sunday, and give thanks for all the gifts they bring to the Community of St. Ann.

Heavenly Father,
Bless all fathers and grandfathers as they care for their families. Give them strength and wisdom, tenderness and patience, give them the ability to love in a way that reflects your love. Support them in the work they have to do, protecting those who look to them, as we look to you for love and salvation. Help us to love them in a way that would bring honor to You and them. Bless and heal all those wounded by the imperfections of their fathers and grant an eternal rest to our fathers you have called from this life to yourself, through Jesus Christ Lord.

Catholic Women’s Association Commissioning – June 28
The Saint Ann community is invited to join the Catholic Women’s Association (CWA) as they celebrate their Commissioning Ceremony on Sunday, June 28 at the 9:00 AM Mass . See flyer below for more details.
Swahili Mass on June 28
Due to the special celebration for the CWA commissioning ceremony, our next Swahili Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, June 28 instead of July 5. Therefore, the Orellana family choir will sing at Mass for the 1st and last Sundays of July. (July 5 and July 26.)
St. Ann Youth News
The St. Ann Youth will be serving Sunday Lunch on July 12. If your middle school or high school child is interested in serving, please sign up after Mass. For more details, contact Robbie or Hannah!
Confirmation & 1st Communion Banners
The youth who received the sacraments of Confirmation and 1st Holy Communion in April can now pick up the banners they created, and which we used to decorate the church throughout the Easter Season. Please pick them up from Elizabeth after Mass or in the parish office during office hours.
Freedom at the Arboretum – July 4
The Westbrook family invites the St. Ann community to join them on Saturday, July 4th for Freedom at the Arboretum. A free concert featuring St. Ann parishioner Ryan C. begins at noon and the program begins at 1:15. Bring a picnic and chairs and enjoy visiting with neighbors in the shade by the Woodland building. Property and Landscaping Strategies to Prevent wildfires from spreading around your home.
- Keep lawnmowers, oil or gas cans, propane tanks, and wood piles at least 30 feet from your home at all times, and move flammable objects like lawn furniture and toys during wildfire activity.
- Keep lawns watered and mowed. Healthy grass is less likely to catch fire. If you’re conserving water, make sure vegetation is removed.
- Keep debris at least 30 feet from your home.
- Keep roofs, gutters, decks, and patios free of leaves, pine needles, or other flammables at all times.
- Keep at least the first 5 feet closest to buildings, structures, and decks clear of flammable materials, or use hardscaping, to prevent embers from igniting materials that can spread to your home.
- Replace flammable mulch and vegetation with hardscaping and nonflammable materials.
- Remove overhanging tree or shrub branches. Keep at least 20 feet from your house, roof, or chimney.
- Prune tree limbs.

St. Ann Safety Reminder
To ensure children’s safety, adults must accompany all children to the restroom in the parish hall during Mass. The restroom key has been moved to the west side door of the church for easier access. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe!
