Special Request from Matthew 25 Ministry
The Matthew 25 Ministry has a special request. One of the families the group is helping is in need of size 6 diapers. If you would like to donate a package of diapers, you can drop them off at the office or bring them to Mass. If you are interested in learning more about the Matthew 25 Ministry, they meet after Mass on the 2nd and 4th Sundays.
A message of gratitude to St. Ann Community,
We want to express our deepest gratitude for the significant role the church and everyone played in our wedding preparations. The warmth, support, and encouragements made our special day even more memorable.
Knowing that we were surrounded by such a caring community added to the joy of our celebration.
Thank you once again for everyone’s kindness and for being such an important part of our lives. We look forward to continuing our journey together in faith and fellowship.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Conor & Ariane McC.

Seven Tips for Less Toxic Clothing (this information from Green America (https://www.greenamerica.org)
- Buy less toxic clothing. The more newly bought conventional clothing you have in your closet, the more chemicals were used in their production-and those chemicals may still be lingering.
- Buy Used. Used clothing has generally been washed many times, meaning that most of the toxic finishes have already been scrubbed away.
- Make what you have last longer. With a little extra care, you can extend the life of the clothes you already have. Make do and mend, if needed.
- Beware of the “new clothing smell.” This will indicate a toxic chemical was used in the finish. Soak the item in the washer or sink overnight by covering with water and a cup of baking soda.
- Buy green and high-quality. Look online for the Green Business Directory for clothing made from eco-friendly fabric without toxic dyes and finishes.
- Forego toxic detergent and fabric softener. Conventional detergents, dryer sheets, and fabric softeners, even when “fragrance freed”, contain a whole host of chemicals – and they’ll coat your clothes with those chemicals. Use eco-friendly detergents from certified green companies.
- Don’t dry clean. Conventional dry-cleaning requires the use of perchloroethylene, a nasty , recognized carcinogen which can cause a host of health problems.
